What We Do

Jackal & Hide is a creative agency and public art duo that makes walls talk. Our collaborative approach combines mural art, design, and storytelling to bring private and public spaces to life.

Whether you’re an individual or a business, we can create a story and concept that stands out amongst the visual noise of traditional advertising and connects people with your brand.

Public Art Projects

Human behaviour can change by transforming our environment. Jackal & Hide believe that with enough creativity, determination, and imagination, dead spaces can become important public places filled with wonder.

We are committed to numerous public art and storytelling initiatives to invigorate and improve public spaces and communities. Our core initiative, BOOMTOWN, focuses on reclaiming forgotten public spaces, and spreading the message that art and storytelling create everyday magic.

Audiovisual Murals

Jackal & Hide merges art with storytelling through our unique audiovisual murals. These interactive audiovisual mural experiences bring walls to life through art and storytelling.

Interactive audiovisual murals have professionally narrated stories and other multimedia features that are accessed via a QR code. These murals aim to inspire reflection, introspection, and contemplation and show that there’s more to things than meets the eye, and, if you engage you can be dazzled and surprised.

Our Vision

Company visions are an entire publishing industry and we’re a bit allergic to self-help (read shelf-help) books. We’ve learned that change happens through collective thinking and collective action. To change human behaviour we need to collaborate to create better more equitable public spaces where humans can thrive.

We just want to, “Make it Nice”. “Making it nice” means finding rad alternatives to improve public space and reduce visual pollution. Making it nice also means developing public art projects that are inclusive, equitable, and tell captivating stories.
